Booking Terms |
An Initial payment of £200 should be paid when reserving a course and is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance of the course fees becomes due on booking and must be paid in full no later than four weeks before the start date of the course. We reserve the right to cancel any booking or course that has not been paid for in full by that time.
You can change the dates of your course at any time up to 4 weeks before the start date. Living Learning English will charge a course re-booking fee of £95 to cover administration charges and insurance when alterations to courses are requested after the course documentation has been issued.
You should be able to claim course fees and other costs on your GuardMe travel insurance. Check with your LLE course manager.
There is no emergency cover for insurance claims as a direct result of Government travel restrictions. If our supply of a course is delayed by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. We won't compensate you for the delay, but if the delay is likely to be substantial or the course is cancelled, we will endeavour to offer you:
Your GuardMe insurance policy will cover you for any emergency medical treatment, quarantine and repatriation, plus additional accommodation if you are unable to return home as planned.
Family circumstances can change, and the teacher that LLE has offered you at the time of booking may become unavailable due to illness or other circumstances. LLE reserves the right to change your teacher due to unforeseen circumstances and will endeavor to offer you an alternative teacher, absorbing all additional costs.
LLE aims to match all young learners on a 2:1 course with a language learning partner of a similar age and level of English (different first language). We manage to match 95% of all our students. We cannot give a 100% guarantee, but we do our best!
In this case, LLE will upgrade you to a 1:1 course for no extra charge (no change to existing policy).
You then have the following options:
Your welcome letter with information about your teacher and family and travel instructions will be available to you on our Student Portal after the Initial Payment has been received.
Living Learning English offers you FREE travel insurance with GuardMe. Your insurance policy will be issued with your course booking documents. Cancellation and abandonment cover of up to £7,500 per insured person begins once the Initial Payment has been received. The remainder of your travel insurance cover applies from when you leave home on the first day and ends when you reach home on the last day of your trip. Travel delays are covered after 12 hours. Any lessons or transfers lost due to travel delays are not covered by insurance. Further information can be found here.
GuardMe Insurance is subject to eligibility. Cover is not available under this policy for students aged 75 or over on the Cover Start Date, and there is no cover for trips in the student’s home country. You must provide all information we request to arrange the insurance and issue the certificate of insurance.
(i) should your child be in breach of the rules of conduct of the teacher’s household, you may be financially responsible for repatriation.
