Our online courses

General English

A one-to-one online English course designed for your individual needs. Covers all skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Business English

A professional English course designed around your individual working needs. Covers business meetings, negotiations, presentations, correspondence and workplace communication. Specialist areas include legal, medical, finance, marketing, HR and general business English.

Academic English

Intensive one-to-one tuition for students preparing for study at a UK school or university. Covers academic reading, writing, note-taking, essays, reports and presentations, with a focus on the specific demands of GCSE, A Level, IB, foundation courses and university entry.

English for Exams

Thorough exam preparation with an experienced teacher. Covers country-specific exams (e.g. Abitur, Baccalaureate), IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and Cambridge exams (KEY, PET, First, Advanced and Proficiency).

Young Learners

A one-to-one online English course tailored to individual needs and level. Covers all skills: reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

School Holiday Courses (Intensive Week)

Intensive 1:1 and 2:1 revision courses during school holidays. 15 hours per week covering General English, Academic English, Cambridge First and IELTS preparation.

Spanish

One-to-one online Spanish tuition for all levels, using the same interactive platform as our English courses. Lessons are conversational in focus and designed around your individual goals, whether you're starting from scratch or looking to build confidence and fluency.

Small Group Online Courses

Affordable, fixed, tailor-made online courses. Groups are small (maximum four) to encourage students to speak in lessons, ask questions and build confidence. Courses available include Young Learners General English (aged 10–13 and 14–17), Adults General English, Cambridge First (aged 14–18) and IELTS (aged 16+). Includes live lessons, offline self-study, 1:1 tutorials with LLE's academic team, and a full academic report and certificate after each module. Contact us for availability.

British Council Accreditation: LLE is accredited by the British Council for home tuition English courses in the UK. This accreditation does not currently extend to our online English language courses.
